Autumn 2
We have had another busy half term in Autumn 2! We have enjoyed a variety of mark making activities,. We loved making big marks on the floor and with chalk outside. In phonics we continued to hear initial sounds and worked on our oral blending skills. The children loved The Stick man. We had lots of fun finding our very own Stick Man outside. When we found the Stick Man we used our clever counting skills to see how many we had found! We even found the Stick Man in ice in the classroom and we had to get him out! In maths we focused on matching numerals and quantities, subitising, describing patterns and exploring size. Finally the last couple of weeks were full of festive activities, we did our winter warmer where we performed songs to the adults, Santa came to visit us and we had a Christmas Craft day.
Well done to all of our children for all of their hard work. We hope you all have a lovely Christmas and we will see you back at Nursery in January.
