Autumn 2 - Helping Hands
Our topic this term was all about People Who Help Us. We have had lots of visitors in school telling us all about the jobs that they do and how they help us. First of all we had a visit from a firefighter. She brought us some equipment in and some uniform to try on. I wonder who is behind the visor??
Next we had a visit from two police officers. We listened very carefully and tried some uniform on.
The following week, Mrs Wood brought in her ambulance from St Johns. We got to look inside it.
Look at our emergency vehicles that we made.
We also had a visit to the library where the librarian read us a story and we borrowed some books to take home.
The highlight of our term was our trip to the panto. We all went to the Pomegranate Theatre to see Aladdin.
We also performed our First Nativity to all the school and then to our grown ups.
At the end of a very long term we celebrated with a party day and disco. Santa visited us and gave us all a present!
