Summer 2 - Beside the Seaside
This term has been a very busy one. We have enjoyed learning all about the seaside and have taken part in lots of exciting things. We had a whole school seaside themed activity day which we took part in a range of sponsored events to raise money for the school. These included playing Hoopla, having a Wellie Wanging competition and the Coconut Shy. We finished the day with our Summer Fair and of course a bounce on the bouncy castle!
This term has seen a special visitor Mr Baker who has been teaching us about music and teaching us to play the ukulele We have been learning about our shapes and we are able to name lots of 2D shapes now.
Our trip to the Butterfly House was a huge success. We had the opportunity to see lots of beautiful butterflies as well as other birds and farm animals. We loved our minibeast workshop where we got to hold a range of creepy crawlies including a giant snail, snake, hissing cockroach and a stick insect. We were all very brave.
It has been a very busy year in Nursery this year. We hope you have learnt lots of fantastic things. Have a lovely Summer and see you September.
