Spring 2
We had another lovely half-term filled with loads of busy activities. We had lots of fun in P.E. We focused on ball skills using our hands. We have learnt to control the ball, roll the ball, and hit a target. We have learnt about the artist of the term Georgia O'Keefe, we used cotton wool, pegs and paint to make our own representations of her work. In literacy we have learnt lots of phonics sounds and looked at the stories Goldie Locks and the Three Bears and Three Billy Goats Gruff. We loved celebrating world book day, it was so fun seeing everyone dressed up as their favourite characters. In maths we focused on matching numbers, quantities, ordering numbers and number formation. We have started dough disco to help our hands get stronger! It will help us with writing our names which we have been practicing every day. We managed to have snack outside twice when it was beautiful sunny days!
