We have had another busy half term in Nursery! In Literacy we have learnt lots of phonics sounds and we have enjoyed the stories of The Three Billy Goats Gruff and Goldilocks and the Three Bears. In PE we have been focusing on ball skills using our hands. We have learnt to control the ball, roll the ball, bounce the ball and also hit a target. We loved celebrating World Book Day and all of our children did a super job at being with the older children taking part in a range of lovely activities. In Maths we have focused on matching numerals and quantities, ordering numbers and also number formation using our special rhyming posters to help us to remember how the numerals are formed. We have also learnt about our Artist of the Term Chris Ofili and made some of our own representations of his work. We have used the ipads to draw pictures from our stories and also to explore electronic musical instruments. In Science we have explored a variety of materials to see if light shines through them or not.
Well done to our wonderful children for all of their hard work. We hope you all have a lovely Easter break and we will see you when we are back after the Easter holidays.
