Spring 2

We have had such a busy half-term! It has been so lovely to end the half-term with lots of sunshine! In P.E. we focused on ball skills using our hands. We have learnt to control the ball, roll the ball, and hit a target.  We have just started doing tiny tots Ballet class which was lots of fun. We pretended to be mice and bees! We have learnt about the artist of the term Piet Mondarian, we looked at his abstract paintings then used wax crayons to create our own version of his work. In phonics we looked at the sounds u, r, h, b, f, and l. We have continued with our Neli programme where we looked at a different book each week. We have had lots of fun activities relating to different words in the stories. We loved celebrating world book day, it was so fun seeing everyone dressed up as their favourite characters. In maths we focused on saying whether we have 1, 2, or 3 dots, counting this amount out and then putting this amount in a pile. We also made towers and talked about if they were the same or different, we used the blocks to make a city and we made bridges. We have been doing dough disco and squiggle while you wiggle! We love dancing to the songs each day while getting stronger.  started dough disco to help our hands get stronger! It will help us with writing our names which we have been practicing every day. We listened to Disco music and Big Band and Swing music for the music of the month. We learnt some disco moves to Bee Gees and Abba!

Well done to our wonderful children for their hard work! We hope you have a lovely Easter Holiday!
